Alyssa is an editor, writer, educator, and communications consultant who persists in advocating for diverse voices that break the rules. Over the past 5 years, Alyssa has edited and written content for finance, fashion, healthcare, and, most recently, sexuality health education, food, and aviation.
Alyssa’s creative nonfiction writing has been published in PANK Magazine, Calyx, Creative Nonfiction, Nine Lives: A Life In 10 Minutes Anthology, and elsewhere. Their essay “Don’t Borrow Trouble” was listed as “Notable” in The Best American Essays 2015, and their essay “Bubble and Pop” was listed as Notable in Memoir Magazine’s 2019 #MeToo contest.
