What is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and why is it important?
Anyone with this designation has studied and prepared for an examination that covers all aspects of financial planning, met ethical obligations and work experience requirements. There is also an annual continuing education requirement too.
What is a fiduciary? Are you one?
A fiduciary is fancy term for putting your interest before mine. As as an advisor, I am both ethically and legally required to act in your best interest. Both as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and a registered investment advisor in the State of NY, I am bound by this standard. Not all financial advisors are fiduciaries. How do you charge for your services?
Financial planning and investment management fees are based on a formula of income and net worth. Read more here.
Do you earn commissions off any products?
No. The only fees that Thinking Big Financial earns are those assessed to AUM or flat fees. Transparency is of utmost importance and since there are no commissions, fees or other types of compensation received based on the type of product or service you choose.
Do you have to be in New York City to be a client?
No. I work with clients in all 50 states. We may not be able to meet in person, but I can communicate and interact with you virtually.
Do I need to have a specific amount of money to work with Thinking Big Financial?
Absolutely not! There are no minimum account sizes.
